fine art photography
Gallery-worthy captured images
Fine art photography is photography created as an artistic expression rather than for commercial, documentary, or journalistic purposes.
The photographer's vision and aesthetic intent take precedence over faithful representation: She studied fine art photography at the institute.
The term distinguishes work meant for gallery walls and collector markets from snapshots, portraits, or photojournalism.
