keycode
Entry number sequence
A keycode is a numerical value assigned to a specific key on a keyboard, used by software to identify which key was pressed.
Different systems may assign different keycodes to the same physical key: The spacebar has keycode 32 in most systems.
Programmers use keycodes to handle keyboard input in applications and games.
