interestedness
State of caring
The state of having a stake or personal investment in something—the opposite of disinterestedness.
Someone with interestedness in an outcome stands to gain or lose from it: Her interestedness in the contract made her an unsuitable judge of its fairness.
The word appears mostly in formal or academic contexts, often when questioning impartiality.
