infant CPR
Newborn emergency breathing
Infant CPR is cardiopulmonary resuscitation adapted for babies, typically those under one year old.
The technique differs from adult CPR: rescuers use two fingers rather than full hands for chest compressions, and deliver gentler breaths covering both mouth and nose.
The babysitter was certified in infant CPR.
Also called baby CPR.
