in-school suspension
On-campus disciplinary isolation
In-school suspension is a disciplinary measure where a student is removed from regular classes but remains on school grounds, typically in a designated room under supervision.
Unlike out-of-school suspension, the student continues attending school but is isolated from peers and normal activities: He served three days of in-school suspension for fighting.
