impeachability
Liable to charges
Impeachability is the quality of being subject to impeachment—the formal process by which a public official can be charged with misconduct and potentially removed from office.
The term appears most often in discussions of constitutional law and presidential conduct: The question of impeachability hinges on whether the offense rises to "high crimes and misdemeanors".
It can also refer more broadly to whether something can be challenged or called into question: the impeachability of the witness's testimony.
