honeyberry
Oblong blue fruit
Honeyberry is a small, oblong blue fruit from a shrub native to Siberia and northeastern Asia, now cultivated in cold climates worldwide.
The berries taste like a cross between blueberries and raspberries with a slight tartness.
Also called haskap or blue honeysuckle: The honeyberries are ready to pick before any other fruit in the garden.
