hit list
Enemies marked for death
A hit list is a list of people to be killed, originally associated with organized crime or assassination plots.
The term now commonly describes any list of targets for elimination or action—people to fire, companies to boycott, or tasks to complete: The new CEO has a hit list of underperforming divisions.
The violent origin gives even mundane uses an edge of ruthlessness.
