herbariums
Dried specimen archives
Herbariums is the plural of herbarium, a collection of preserved plant specimens used for scientific study, or the building or institution that houses such a collection.
Specimens are typically dried, pressed, and mounted on paper with identifying information.
The university's herbariums contain over two million specimens.
