hand-raised
Fed by humans
Hand-raised describes an animal raised by humans rather than its natural parents, typically fed and cared for from infancy: a hand-raised parrot, hand-raised orphan lambs.
Hand-raised animals often become tamer and more comfortable around people than their wild-raised counterparts.
The term applies especially to birds, livestock, and exotic pets.
