glassies
Transparent playing spheres
Glassies are marbles made of glass, distinguished from clay or steel varieties.
The term is primarily British and Australian, used especially by children: I traded my best glassie for three cat's eyes.
Glassies can also refer to eyes, particularly when glassy or vacant-looking.
