glass etching
Decorative pane work
Glass etching is a technique for creating designs on glass by abrading or chemically treating the surface to produce a frosted, matte finish.
The process uses acid, abrasive cream, or sandblasting to eat away at the glass.
Etched glass appears on decorative windows, mirrors, glassware, and memorial plaques: The bathroom door had an etched glass panel for privacy.
