geekdom
Obsessive fan territory
Geekdom is the world of geeks—the community, culture, and shared interests of people deeply passionate about technology, gaming, comics, science fiction, or similar pursuits.
It can refer to the state of being a geek: She embraced her geekdom proudly.
The term carries affection rather than stigma, reflecting how geek identity has shifted from insult to badge of honor.
