jockdom
Realm of athletes
Jockdom is the world or culture of jocks—athletes and those who embody stereotypical athletic masculinity.
The term can describe the social sphere of sports enthusiasts or, more critically, the values associated with it: competitiveness, physical prowess, and sometimes anti-intellectualism.
He never fit in with the jockdom of his high school.
