game of chance
Wager on randomness
A game of chance is one where outcomes depend primarily on luck rather than skill—dice, roulette, slot machines, lotteries.
The category matters legally, since gambling laws often distinguish games of chance from games of skill.
Many games blend both: poker requires skill but deals random cards.
