obtuse angle
Past ninety degrees
An obtuse angle is an angle greater than 90 degrees but less than 180 degrees—wider than a right angle but not yet a straight line.
The term comes from geometry but appears in everyday description: The road bent at an obtuse angle.
Compare with acute angle, which is sharper than 90 degrees.
