floating sensation
Drifting through air
A floating sensation is the feeling of weightlessness or buoyancy, as if suspended in water or air.
It may occur during meditation, hypnagogic states, or certain drug experiences.
The sensation can also accompany dissociation or derealization: I had a strange floating sensation, like I wasn't really in my body.
Some describe it during relaxation or falling asleep.
