twilight state
Half-aware mental zone
A twilight state is a condition of diminished consciousness between full wakefulness and sleep or unconsciousness.
In psychiatry, it describes episodes where a person performs actions automatically with little awareness or later memory—sometimes associated with epilepsy, dissociation, or intoxication.
He committed the act in a twilight state and remembered nothing afterward.
