flews
Droopy dog lips
Flews are the pendulous upper lips of certain dogs, especially hounds like bloodhounds and basset hounds.
These loose, drooping lip folds hang down on either side of the muzzle and contribute to the saggy, jowly appearance characteristic of these breeds.
The bloodhound's flews quivered as it picked up the scent.
