flamebait
Designed to enrage
Flamebait is an internet post or comment deliberately designed to provoke angry responses.
The term comes from flame (a hostile online message) and bait (something to lure prey).
Someone drops flamebait in a forum or comment section to start arguments: That take about Star Wars was obvious flamebait.
The goal is generating heat, not light.
