exclusive screening
Invitation-only film debut
An exclusive screening is a film showing limited to a select audience—industry insiders, critics, invited guests, or special members.
The exclusivity creates anticipation and prestige: The studio held an exclusive screening for press before the wide release.
Sometimes used for private viewings at festivals or premieres where general audiences aren't admitted.
