effects pedals
Guitar signal processors
Effects pedals are small electronic devices that guitarists and other musicians place on the floor and activate with their feet to modify their instrument's sound.
Each pedal produces a specific effect—distortion, delay, reverb, chorus, wah—and players chain multiple pedals together to create signature tones.
He built up a pedalboard with eight effects pedals.
