easterners
Sunrise-side inhabitants
Easterners are people from the eastern part of a country or region.
In American usage, easterners typically means people from the East Coast or northeastern states: Easterners often underestimate how much driving westerners do.
The term is relative—someone from Ohio might be an easterner to a Californian but a midwesterner to a New Yorker.
