dropdown lists
Expandable choice panels
Dropdown lists are interface elements that expand when clicked to reveal a menu of selectable options, then collapse after a selection is made.
They save screen space by hiding choices until needed: Choose your country from the dropdown list.
Common in forms, software menus, and web navigation.
Also called dropdown menus or simply dropdowns.
