dreamcore

Hazy childhood aesthetic

Dreamcore is an internet aesthetic built around imagery that evokes the surreal, nostalgic quality of dreams—empty swimming pools, liminal spaces, oversaturated colors, and familiar settings rendered slightly wrong.

The style often triggers feelings of unease or déjà vu, as if remembering something that never happened.

Related to liminal space aesthetics and weirdcore: The abandoned mall photos have such dreamcore vibes.
