dreamers
Those who imagine
Dreamers are people who dream—whether in sleep or in imagination.
The word often carries a gentle criticism: dreamers have impractical hopes, heads in the clouds rather than feet on the ground.
He's a dreamer who never follows through.
But dreamers also envision what others can't: Every great invention started with a dreamer.
In American political discourse, Dreamers (often capitalized) refers to undocumented immigrants brought to the U.S. as children, from the proposed DREAM Act legislation.
