horrorcore
Grim hip-hop subgenre
Horrorcore is a subgenre of hip-hop characterized by graphic, horror-themed lyrics—serial killers, gore, the supernatural, and extreme violence.
Artists like Gravediggaz, Brotha Lynch Hung, and Insane Clown Posse helped define the style.
The term combines "horror" with "hardcore," emphasizing both subject matter and aggressive delivery: That track is pure horrorcore.
