doxing

Revealing private information

Doxing is publicly revealing someone's private information online—real name, home address, workplace, phone number—typically with malicious intent.

The practice weaponizes personal data, often to enable harassment or intimidation: After she criticized the game, trolls doxed her and she had to leave her apartment.
