diving pool
Springboard's landing zone
A diving pool is a swimming pool designed specifically for diving, typically deeper than standard pools to allow safe entry from diving boards and platforms.
Competitive diving pools are usually at least 5 meters deep.
The term distinguishes these from shallower pools meant for swimming laps or general recreation: The Olympic complex has separate diving and swimming pools.
