dirtbag

Contemptible dishonest person

A dirtbag is a contemptible or worthless person—someone dishonest, sleazy, or generally lowlife: Her ex-boyfriend turned out to be a total dirtbag.

The term is mildly vulgar but common.

In a separate sense, dirtbag describes a minimalist outdoor lifestyle, especially among climbers who live cheaply to maximize time on the rock: dirtbag climbing.
