dice tray
Cube catching box
A dice tray is a shallow container with raised edges, used to contain dice when rolling them during tabletop games.
The walls prevent dice from scattering across the table or knocking over game pieces.
Dice trays range from simple cardboard boxes to elaborate leather or wooden designs: I bought a velvet-lined dice tray for D&D night.
