card sleeves
Trading card covers
Card sleeves are thin protective covers, usually plastic, that encase individual playing cards to prevent wear, scratches, and damage.
Collectors use them to preserve valuable trading cards, and gamers sleeve their decks to keep cards in tournament-legal condition: I always sleeve my Magic cards before playing.
