dial pad
Phone number entry
A dial pad is the grid of buttons on a telephone or touchscreen used for entering numbers, typically arranged with 1-2-3 across the top and 0 at the bottom, flanked by * and #.
The term persists from rotary dial days, though modern dial pads are pressed rather than dialed: She punched her PIN into the dial pad.
