deluxe editions
Fancy release variants
Deluxe editions are premium versions of products—typically books, albums, or video games—that include extra content or higher-quality materials than standard releases.
A deluxe edition might feature bonus tracks, expanded artwork, hardcover binding, or collectible packaging: The deluxe edition comes with a second disc of unreleased demos.
The term signals upgraded value, though sometimes the additions are minimal.
