defeater
One who overcomes
A defeater is someone or something that defeats.
In philosophy and epistemology, a defeater is evidence or argument that undermines a belief or claim—either by directly contradicting it (a rebutting defeater) or by undercutting the reasons for holding it (an undercutting defeater): The new testimony served as a defeater for the prosecution's theory.
