debriefs

Questions after operations

Debriefs is the verb form of debrief, meaning to question someone systematically after a mission, project, or experience to extract useful information: The commander debriefs the pilots after every sortie.

A debrief is also a noun for the session itself.

The word originated in military intelligence but now applies broadly—athletes debrief after games, employees after conferences.
