deauthorising

Withdrawing official approval

Deauthorising is the British spelling of deauthorizing—the act of revoking someone's authority or permission to do something.

In technical contexts, it often refers to removing a device's access to a service or account: I'm deauthorising this computer from my iTunes library.

The process reverses a previous authorisation.
