dance pad

Step-sensing game mat

A dance pad is a flat electronic controller with pressure-sensitive panels that players step on to input commands, typically used with rhythm video games like Dance Dance Revolution.

Arrows or symbols scroll on screen, and players must hit the corresponding panels in time with the music.

Also called a dance mat.
