dance circle
Dancers holding hands
A dance circle is a ring of people surrounding a central space where individuals take turns performing, often improvised moves.
Common at parties, weddings, and hip-hop events, the circle creates an informal stage: The crowd formed a dance circle and people started showing off their best moves.
Also called a cypher in hip-hop contexts.
