crop-dusting
Plane sprays fields
Crop-dusting is spraying pesticides or fertilizers on fields from a low-flying aircraft.
The plane passes just above the crops, releasing a fine mist that settles on the plants: The crop-dusting pilot made another pass over the cotton fields.
In slang, crop-dusting means walking through a space while silently passing gas, leaving others to encounter it.
