contactees
UFO encounter claimants
Contactees are people who claim to have communicated with extraterrestrial beings, especially through ongoing or repeated encounters.
The term emerged in UFO subculture during the 1950s and typically implies direct contact rather than mere sighting: The contactees described benevolent space visitors with messages for humanity.
Unlike abductees, contactees usually present their experiences as voluntary and positive.
