firsthand
From the source
Firsthand means obtained directly from the original source, without intermediaries: firsthand knowledge, firsthand experience, a firsthand account.
If you witness an event yourself rather than hearing about it from others, your information is firsthand.
The word works as both adjective and adverb: I learned firsthand how difficult it is.
