communion service
Bread and wine
A communion service is a Christian religious ceremony in which bread and wine (or grape juice) are consecrated and shared among worshippers, commemorating the Last Supper of Jesus Christ.
The term also refers to the set of vessels—chalice, paten, and other items—used to administer the sacrament: The silver communion service was a gift to the church in 1892.
