collectors editions
Special release copies
Collectors editions are special versions of products—typically books, video games, films, or albums—released with premium packaging, bonus content, or limited availability.
They target devoted fans willing to pay more for extras like art books, figurines, or exclusive materials: The collectors edition includes a hardcover art book and soundtrack.
Sometimes called collector's edition (singular possessive) or limited edition.
