codrivers
Passenger seat guides
Codrivers are the navigators in rally racing who sit beside the driver, reading pace notes that describe upcoming turns, jumps, and hazards.
The codriver's precise calls—delivered seconds before each feature appears—allow drivers to push through unfamiliar terrain at high speed.
Outside motorsport, a codriver is simply anyone who shares driving duties on a long trip: We switched off as codrivers every few hours.
