cocaptain
Joint team leader
A cocaptain is one of two or more people sharing the role of captain—whether of a sports team, ship, or other group.
The prefix signals equal authority rather than a hierarchy: She and Marcus were elected cocaptains of the debate team.
Also spelled co-captain.
