Delphic
Ambiguous like prophecies
Relating to Delphi, the ancient Greek sanctuary where a priestess delivered prophecies from the god Apollo.
The Delphic oracle was famously cryptic—her pronouncements could be interpreted multiple ways, often revealing their true meaning only after events unfolded.
The Delphic maxim "know thyself" was inscribed at the temple. (Lowercase delphic means ambiguous or obscure.)
