chronological age
Time since birth
Chronological age is how old someone is measured in time since birth—years, months, days.
The term distinguishes calendar age from other measures: His chronological age is twelve, but his reading level is that of a sixteen-year-old.
It contrasts with biological age (how the body has aged), mental age (cognitive development), or developmental age in children.
