cherry pepper
Small round capsicum
A cherry pepper is a small, round pepper resembling a cherry in shape and size, typically bright red when ripe though sometimes yellow or orange.
Cherry peppers range from mild to moderately hot and are commonly pickled, stuffed with cheese or meat, or used in antipasto platters.
I added a few pickled cherry peppers to the sandwich for some heat.
