chemical bombs
Poison gas weapons
Chemical bombs are weapons designed to disperse toxic chemical agents—gases, liquids, or aerosols that poison, burn, or incapacitate victims.
Unlike conventional explosives that kill through blast force, chemical bombs inflict harm through the substances they release: nerve agents, blister agents, choking agents.
Their use in warfare is prohibited under international law, though they have been deployed in conflicts from World War I to Syria.
